A description of the desolation coming to Isreal, in a cloud early, as the dew that passes quickly will their life escape them, like the chaff driven off the floor when a whirlwind comes will they become scattered and lost, like the smoke from a chimney that quickly vanishes from sight, so will they from the sight of the LORD because they are to have no other god BUT Him.(vs4) There is no one else who can save them. This applies to all who are living in the world. God is so merciful, but He is also just.
