When innocent blood is shed, desolation will come upon that land. In America, our government has allowed this to go on for years and we seem to have no influence on the law makers to abolish this horrific act. Desolation in our nation is an absolute result of this decision and it is happening as I type this note. America's national status is getting weak and is headed for a melt down. Why is the media and President Obama so concerned today about Syria's bombs, when just over 23,000 babies are aborted in US each week.
The chemical warfare in Syria is certainly something to be concerned about and it's good that leaders are worried about the 1000's who could die if Seria unleashed this kind of weapon, but I have to ask myself, "What is the motive behind the "concern" of our political leaders who would allow over 3000 innocent children to be mutilated each day and disposed of without losing a moments sleep. Instead, they are actually supporting it with the American people's hard earned tax dollars.

The influence of satan on America has given citizens the freedom....
to destroy what God has created.
I don't think that's what the signors of the Declaration had in mind when they agreed to "freedom for all". That's why the Declaration of Independence included "JUSTICE and Freedom for all"! No one can convince me that this perverted act is JUST before GOD!
It is the influence of God on our nation that will bring national leaders to their knees in repentance for allowing this horrific sin to continue. Repentance according to God's Word will bring the love of God that transforms us by the renewing of our minds in Christ Jesus. The judgement of God is prophecy for the end times when God will unleash His wrath on those who will not repent of their sins. The Bible refers a number of times to God's judgement as the desolation of the wicked, but as true believers, we are not to fear this desolation that will come upon a rebellious people.
My son, don't let these depart from your eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:
So will they be life to your soul, and grace to your neck.
Then will you walk in your way safely, and your foot will not stumble.
When you lay down, you will not be afraid:
yes, you will lay down, and your sleep will be sweet.
Don't be afraid of sudden terror,nor of the desolation of the wicked, when it comes.

Most believers are familiar with the words found earlier in this passage written by Solomon; a man who was gifted with wisdom, knowledge and a long life by God. Let's go back and see how Solomon advises Christ's believers to live.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart;
and don't depend on your own way of understanding.
In all your ways seek His guidance, and he will show you the way.
Don't be wise in your own eyes:
fear the LORD in reverence, and depart from evil.
This will be health to your navel(umbilical cord),
and marrow to your bones.(strength)
~ Proverbs 3:5-8 ~
How could this apply to a woman facing pregnancy & satan's influence?
Notice that Solomon tells us to trust, seek and fear the LORD; then there will be health to your navel (source of life giving blood to the unborn child) and marrow to your bones(the structure that gives us our strength and stability). That is our application on a very personal level, but when we apply it to our nation as a whole and it's leaders following this advice would mean health to our economy and income that sustains us; as well as strength to our infrastructure and nations security.
