"SO MANY DESOLATE CHILDREN"

“For where thou art, there is the world itself,
and where thou art not, desolation.”
― William Shakespeare, Henry IV, Part 2

Why so many fatherless in our world?

Did God cause this to happen?

Pure and undefiled religion before God and our heavenly Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble and to keep yourself from being tainted by the world. ~ James 1:27

"There is a story about this picture and the desolation experienced by innocent children of Uganda at the end of today's post. I believe it will help you to see, as I have seen that God is a father of love and we are a funnel through which His love flows"

The more that I study about the "desolation of the wicked", I am realizing more and more that people who have taken a pathway in life that leads to the destruction, persecution and wrath unleashed on innocent lives are not the only ones who will suffer desolation.

Their actions bring desolation for millions of children across our globe, whether it's a murder in America or a band of rebels going through a village in Uganda slaughtering and raping moms, dads and children.

The suffering of the children, whose fathers have been murdered and mothers have been raped, will endure a lifetime within their memories. The "desolation of the wicked" meaning to be left alone, unprotected, exposed to danger without any other divine intervention; this is the desolation of the wicked, but what about the desolation of the innocent?

Did God cause this too? Wait! Let me rephrase this question.

Did God cause the wicked to destroy innocent lives?

Did God leave millions of children fatherless?

We should know the answer right away, but modern day teaching brings doubt.

So then my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. For this reason lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
~ James 1:19-21~

Some professors in schools and universities would have us to doubt this passage from the word of God and question who is to blame for these violent acts against families across our globe! As believers are warned to "wake up" and be on guard, lest we find ourselves doubting, our faith flapping in the wind and driven like a waves of the ocean are driven by stormy weather. The waves cannot stop because they have no strength or structure. The wave is at the mercy of the wind.

If you have been asking God for knowledge and wisdom, yet still find yourself confused and easily led by others, examine your faith in God to see if it is head knowledge or heart felt. Don't just say that you believe, but see if your heart has truly experienced the change that comes with complete and total faith. We learn that true belief and faith causes us to live the word of God, not just hear it. See James 1:22-25

So many children left desolate and needing love, but the word of God says that a day will come when the desolation of the wicked will take place and it effects us all because the perversion is interwoven within our communities, our cities and our nation.

So how do we deal with the desolation of the wicked when it begins in our town, state or nation? God says to fear not the desolation of the wicked. Paul said as he was imprisoned and awaiting his verdict,"For me to live is for Christ, but if I die it is gain". There are only two ways out of our world and that is by death or the second coming of the LORD. It is truly a glorious place in eternity where no more crying or sorrow will exist, especially for the innocent who have suffered so much pain on this earth. So we have a promise of Hope, no matter what happens to us in this world. We can always share this hope with the hurting and allow God's love to flow through us no matter what we see happening around us. Praise and thank God for His promises.

Let's take a look... at the life of a some believers who have done this very thing in the desolate villages of Uganda. Here is a clip from the diary of the woman shown in the picture at the beginning of this post and she tells about a young boy who called her Momma Kiki while she was there.

"... I also want to introduce you to a little boy named Allan (3).   I have NEVER bonded like this on a missions trip, but this precious child captured my heart in a CRAZY way. When he was 2 years old, his father was murdered protecting the trees in his forestry. He was killed defending and standing up to a gang of thieves. The rebels then went to the home and raped the mother to death and mutilated her body. They left her small baby boy, still breastfeeding, there to die.  The rebels burned down the home, farm and land. The little boy that survived was Allan. He was brought to Canaans Children’s Home 10 months ago, but his heart is still damaged. They call him “humble man” he is sooo quite, but has a smile to die for.  My heart broke into pieces and I just scooped him up and never let him go the entire time I was there. "

I encourage you to use the link below to read her entire story about a Pastor who was left for dead, but God miraculously raised up to begin this awesome ministry "Canaan's Children's Home" in the midst of the desolation, persecution and suffering in Uganda.
